Customer Intelligence Manager

 

Overall Purpose of the Position

 

Customer Intelligence is a relatively new unit within the Strategy Department that focuses on 
leveraging customer data. A business analyst is needed to support the current CI Manager in day-today data requests and the compilation of monthly and ad-hoc reports. 

The CI Analyst will also be responsible for enhancing the customer segmentation and be actively involved in the implementation of a new CRM. He or she will also be supporting the product development team and contribute to the overall bank strategy by promoting data driven decision making. 

The analyst will need to bridge the gap between operations and IT and be able to understand both  sides of the business. Therefore, the ideal candidate would have both technical IT knowledge and a good understanding of the banking industry.

 

Operational Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly and ad-hoc reporting related to products and customers.
• Prioritise customer data requests from Marketing and other departments.
• Collaborate in projects with other departments that need data guidance. 
• Identify and develop reports related to customer trends.
• Effectively communicate findings through dashboards and KPIs.

  

General Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times. 
• Assist the line manager to monitor and report progress of implementation of the various initiatives / projects 
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies 

Mandatory

 Skill

  • • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
    • Familiar with SQL queries and database concepts.
    • Able to design charts and tailor the right metrics to the audience. 

 Experience

  •  At least 2 years’ experience in an analyst position.

Qualification

  • Certification in IT/Statistics/Finance 

Desirable

 Skill

  •  Ability to design interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI

Experience

  •  Experience at an analytical position within a financial institution.

Qualification

  •  Degree in IT/Statistics/Finance
