Overall Purpose of the Position
The Enterprise Risk Analyst supports the articulation and ongoing enhancement of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The role supports the implementation and monitoring of the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement and contributes to maintaining a comprehensive enterprise-wide view of the risks facing the Bank.
Operational Responsibilities
· Prepare risk reports, dashboards and presentations for Senior Management, the Board of Directors and relevant Committees.
· Support the monitoring, analysis and reporting of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), in line with the Bank’s risk management framework and applicable regulatory requirements.
· Assist the team in the compilation and submission of regulatory reports
· Support the team in preparing for and responding to internal and external audits, regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements.
· Assists the team in the Internal Capital and Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Processes, Recovery and Resolution Planning Processes, and Stress Testing, including the preparation and analysis of relevant information and documentation.
· Support the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the Bank’s Risk Register by engaging with risk owners across the Bank.
· Assist other members of the Department with day-to-day activities and tasks, as required, to support the effective functioning and delivery of the Department’s responsibilities.
General Responsibilities
· Participate in meetings and Bank-wide projects as may be directed by the Manager/Senior Officer.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, industry and risk management best practice through continuous professional development and training.
· Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times.
Deliver high-quality work in a timely and consistent manner and in line with the Department’s procedures, handbooks and established standards.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Qualification
- Possess a first degree in Risk Management, Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or Economics
Desirable
Skill
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, presentations and management information for senior management and relevant committees.
Experience
- Experience in risk management within a financial institution
Qualification
- A qualification specific to the financial services industry would be considered an asset
